I have had several inquiries lately, as to if I offer pet portraits. Hearing that, I figured I should probably let everyone else know that I definitely do and I LOVE doing them. Anyone that knows me, knows that I love animals (probably more than most people) so any opportunity to do that excites me. Horses, cats, dogs, snakes, birds, you name it. Here is a fun sample of a fun pet session I did a couple months ago that I had a BLAST with!

Carlee and Tim
Can I just say that this shoot was so amazing. Everything about it from the GORGEOUS Location, how gorgeous this bride and groom was, and how even her bouquet perfectly matched the surroundings in color. Love love love. This darling bride and groom paid for me to come out to St. George to do these pictures and I am so glad and happy for the opportunity. They had us do both their videography and photographs. Here is a small teaser of what is to come and let me say, come back for more!

Kelly & Scott Wedding Day
Well I am finally back in town having been camping for the past week. Let me just say that I have been biting my nails in eagerness to edit this wedding (ok not really biting my nails because that has never been a habit of mine but you get the point). This darling and gorgeous couple flew me out to Colorado to shoot their wedding and I was so thrilled and excited for the opportunity. Their wedding took place in one of the most gorgeous Cathedrals I have had the opportunity to shoot, it reminded me of a church straight out of Old Europe with it's rose windows and dark lighting. This is just a tiny sneak peek and I promise to post lots more this week as I get caught up on all of my editing!

Lauren - Senior Portraits
{The One Inch Journey}
"Always in the woods when you leave familiar ground and step off alone into a new place, there will be along with the feeling of curiosity and excitement, a little nagging of dread. It is the ancient fear of the unknown...(but) nobody can discover the world for anyone else. It is only after we have discovered it for ourselves that it becomes a common ground, and we cease to be alone."
~ Wendell Berry
I absolutely love this quote from Wendell Berry. While taking these pictures of gorgeous Lauren, this quote kept popping into my head. I find that we find this true in many moments of our lives but I remember being Lauren's age, just graduated from High School and off to College. All of these feelings overwhelm you but you know that the result's will be worth it. I don't have my own kids yet, but I know how hard it is on parents to watch your children go, wishing you can be there with them through it all. But that is the point isn't it? To trust in ourselves to learn new things. Lauren is quite the beauty and so elegant and beautiful. I loved taking these senior portraits of her and wish her the best as she leaves "familiar ground" and steps off into a new place. This is a sneak peek of this awesome shoot. I can't wait to show you lots more. She is absolutely stunning.

Kearn's Crew
I have to say that this family is very near and dear to my heart. I love them all so much and appreciate everything they have ever done for me and continue to do for me. They are so wonderful and I am so grateful I had to chance to photograph their happy family. More to come soon! Here is a sneak peek.
