Senior Portraits 2011

I'm starting to book up Senior Portrait Sessions for the next couple months. I have to say that Senior Portraits are honestly one of my most favorite sessions to photograph. I love how much fun they are and getting to work with a variety of personalities (and of course the fun outfits worn). I am planning a trip out to Texas in May because of the inquiries I have had so far, email me so I can save you a slot if you are interested in these fun sessions. For my Utah Clients the weather is starting to look happier and the fun spring colors are about to burst so don't miss out on that window of time to get your pictures done. Visit my brand new website for my senior portrait session samples at http://www.madmariephotography.com and share with your friends! You get $25 in print credit for every person you refer to me!

Marissa & Roy

Here is a teaser from the wedding I shot at the Bountiful Temple yesterday for Marissa and Roy. What a STUNNING couple. Their love for each other is so evident and they are so excited for the life ahead of them. I was so excited to be apart of their wedding day and can't wait to show you more from this happy day.

Brittany & Chris

What a FUN couple these two are. This wedding was such a blast to shoot, especially because last year I shot Ben's wedding (Brittany's Brother) so it was so fun to see the family again as well as Ben and Laura. More pictures to come soon as I get caught up on everything!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

How can you not love this face? I know I sure do. I had my camera with me at my niece's house because I had a photo shoot to go to and she wanted me to take a "pitcher" of her... :) Here is a snapshot I took of her quick. She is such a doll.

Up, Up and Away they Go!

This fun, gorgeous married couple are graduating from college and are headed off to pilot training for Jake in the Air Force. While in California, I had the chance to do this hilarious and fun shoot with Jake and Courtney. They wanted to do something fun and lighthearted for their graduation announcements and I will definitely say they accomplished that. I don't think I have ever laughed so much in a shoot and they were so fabulous on camera. Here is a sneak peek from their session.

Baby Taytum

"If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle."
-Vincent van Gogh

I had the opportunity to drive out to Las Vegas and take this sweet baby girl's new born pictures. It was such a wonderful experience, especially dealing with a client who is so adorable. Throughout the shoot, we all kept commenting on how pure and perfect babies are. It's hard not to feel or see that, especially when a new born's presence fills the room with such love and joy. Enjoy this sneak peek and check back soon for more pictures from Baby Taytum's portrait session.

Ypsilon Fashion Show 2011

Here is the first preview of the Ypsilon Fashion Show that I had the opportunity to shoot. This was such an amazing, fun experience. I loved the dynamic of not just getting runway photographs but having the time to take pictures of the models getting ready. The process is so interesting and its so awesome to see the end results. These dresses are AMAZING... I love all of the details that makes each dress so unique. If you are looking for amazing and unique formal dresses I would head over to Ypsilon in Trolley Square. Check back soon for more pictures from this fun shoot.
